The overall look of this quilt is fabulous at a distance. Up close, however, the embroidery of the leaves is not actually colored thread. It’s a printed pattern with minimal non colored thread to give a slightly quilted effect. I just want you to know what you are getting into. Not a fully embroidered quilt.
In the photo the red and yellow is printed, not embroidery thread.
I bought this for my couch because it’s tufted & I have a white cat that gets her fur stuck in the tufts. I had 2 blue throws to cover the seat cushions. But my couch is bronze so this quilt is beautiful to replace the blue throws. It matches so well & the ginkgo design gives the couch such a unique look & can also be used as a throw when I’m watching tv.
Absolutely love this blanket. Got the reversible in pink and blue/grey and both sides look great in room. Only wish there were matching pillow shams. Then the room would look perfect!
