I had some sizing issues when buying some pajamas for my mother. Disappointed

Beautiful loungewear, however the sizing is way off! I am always a standard medium in everything. After reading other reviews I ordered 4 sets of pj’s in large. Before wearing, I washed each set in cold water, line dried and they shrunk down even more. They looked like they were petite size now. Ridiculously small.
I had to give them all away to my petite neighbor.
My friend who is also a medium size, ordered her pj’s in XXL and they fit well. They also shrank quite a bit after washing in cold water and line drying.
I’m having open heart surgery in a few weeks and was looking forward to treating myself these beautiful pairs of pajamas. I am disappointed!
